US Youth Soccer

Welcome to Mt Baker - Lakewood Soccer Cub

The MBL board made the tough decision to cancel our fall season. We reached this conclusion because we felt that the multiple uncertainties about our ability to provide a safe, equitable soccer program in the current circumstances - low registration numbers, no guarantee about when King County will reach Phase 3 of the public health guidelines that will allow reasonable practices and games, and reservations about how to mitigate and manage Covid-19 exposure risks to our players and volunteers - outweighed our deep desire to provide a normal soccer program for our children this fall.

This year, in light of the uncertainties facing many families, we are offering a payment plan. Families will pay $20 for their first player and $5 per additional player on June 1 (or the date they register children after June 1). They will then pay 50% of the remaining balance on September 1, and the remainder on October 1. We plan to offer more scholarships to families in need this year. If you need financial assistance, please contact treasurer@mblsoccer.org before registering your players.

At checkout, for Payment Method please choose "Payment Plan" from the dropdown menu, choose your Payment Method and finally "3 Installments" from Select Payment Plan Schedule.

Registration Fees

U6 $75.00 - $60 Registering before June 30th

U7-U19 $125.00 - $110.00 Registering before June 30th

Our Girls U13 and U11 age groups are currently full.  Please register for the waitlist.  We will contact you if space becomes available.  Your credit card will not be charged unless we place your player on a team.

Boys U11 and U13 will also register for the waitlist.  Once registered, we will accept and place your player.

Mt Baker-Lakewood Soccer Club is a volunteer run organization.      We need 2 coaches for every team.  Please consider volunteering.   For more information contact us info@mblsoccer.org

New players are not able to select their team, and coaches are not able to select players for their teams (except that coaches' children will be placed on the same team as the coach).

Returning players will be assigned to their existing teams from the previous fall season as long as they register on time (before June 30.) There are two exceptions to this general guideline: (1) when a parent requests their player not return to the previous team or (2) when it is necessary for the club to transfer players to provide an opportunity for all players to have a team.

Players registering before the June 30 deadline have priority for placement over late registrants, even if the former is a new player and the latter is a returning player. All team assignments are made at the sole discretion of the Registrar. Any disputes will be resolved by the club's Registrar, President, and SYSA Commissioner.
